Our Wedding

Amber met Spencer when she switched school's and started attending Auburn Adventist Academy. They both were in their junior year of high school but didn't cross paths very much. As Amber became close friend with Spencer's friends from childhood they developed a friendly acquaintance. It wasn't until they both moved to Walla Walla, WA for college that they realized they both had interest in each other. Spencer tends to be on the quieter side and Amber obviously is not. They are the perfect balance for each other, Spencer the calm and Amber the chaos! October 11 2018 they became official. From then on they've been inseparable. Through starting college, surviving COVID together, long distance as Amber finished nursing school in Portland, OR and finally moving in together after college grad it's been an adventure. Spencer has been Amber's rock through the loss of her Mom in 2022. To find peace and joy in each other has been their greatest gift. Their lives became chaotic in the best way as they created their own family with 3 french bulldogs names Aspen, Milo, and Winston, as well as their rescue kitty Aura. It's been 7 years of laughter, tears, and growth for these two, and they're so excited to get married. Spencer proposed on a sunrise off-roading trip while camping near Mount Rainier on May 31, 2025. It was perfect! There was a gorgeous alpine glow on Rainier and and Amber very excitedly said yes. Shortly after they began planning for their elopement. As a relatively private couple, they are opting to have a private ceremony at a beautiful view point at Mount Baker on August 27th, 2026.

Andrew has been Spencer’s best friend since elementary school. Hes a sports enthusiast, engineer, and sarcasm extraordinaire. Hes the token “planner” of the friend group and                                                                                                                                                                             the one person you know wont cancel on you last minute or be late!

Lauren has been Ambers best friend, confidant, emergency phone call, and tear-wiper for the past 7 years. Shes a MICU nurse, cat mom, and nature enthusiast. If youre lucky enough to know her theres no question youll love her.

Christopher has been friends with Spencer since they were in diapers. Hes a dentist (and a good one - Amber can vouch), coffee enthusiast, and the token film photographer of the group. Hes always down to grab a coffee last minute and a super fan of 36 hour camping trips!

Madi and Amber met at their first ICU jobs in Seattle. They made it through the first two years of nursing and created a life-long friendship. Madi is a stellar nurse and CrossFit queen. We still resent Philly for stealing away our favorite dog-sitter. 

Madison Ohrman

Ethan and Spencer are brothers, but even better friends. Ethan may seem quiet at first but in reality he's the life of the party. We both feel lucky to have him as our brother. If your looking for Amber at a party she's probably in the corner gossiping with Ethan ;)

Ethan DeCamp

Tanner and Amber met house-boating freshman year of high school but didn't truly become friends until nursing school. Tanner is a plant and cat dad, CVICU nurse, and a true friend. He's one of the best guys you'll ever meet, plus Amber lucked out because two of her best friends now come as a package deal!!

Maria's the girl who gets to marry Spencer and Amber. She's hilarious, adventurous, and an old soul (with some freakin' cool tattoos). She grew up with Spencer, and was one of Amber's closest friends at boarding school. She's the perfect combo of being friends with both Spencer and Amber, and they're so glad she is going to be standing up there with them when they say "I Do."

What Guys Need to Know About Dress Codes

Please wear semi-formal evening clothes appropriate for summer time! Make sure you'll be comfortable and able to dance with us. It’s the last weekend before autumn starts so it’s the perfect time to wear your bright and summery colors!For ladies dresses and jumpsuits preferred. Please avoid wearing white/cream/champagne/silver/butter yellow so that the bride can have her moment!For men, slacks with a button up, suit, or sports coat would be perfect. For our they/them friends, a mix of either option! We want everyone to feel their best and have a fun time.

This is similar to Airbnb but for cars. You would be picking up and renting a car from the individual that owns it. They're well versed in airport pick-ups and drop-offs. We've used this before with their app and it was very easy.

Pay by phone is an app used for parking in the city! City parking lots typically have a QR code that you can scan to pay for parking. You'll want to skip on the $75 parking ticket they hand out like candy.
