Call it puppy love, but 4 months into dating! We said I love you about a month after dating, and by the time we hit that 4 month mark we knew we wanted to grow old together. We've been together since 10/11/2018 and that gut feeling saying we're meant for each other has only gotten stronger.

Ultimately, we decided we wanted the day we say "I do," focused entirely on us, keeping it very private and allowing us to be in our own little world. The wedding will happen 08/27/2026 at Mt. Baker during sunrise. The two rules for our wedding day are have fun and don't stress. We're pretty private in general, and it is very important to us that the day be exactly what we want and that the whole focus be on each other, instead of timelines and logistics. Plus, doing it this way lets us have the day of the reception be solely about celebrating our loved ones!

Truthfully, we have no clue. If the last few years have shown us anything it's that the life will change your plans no matter how hard you try to control them. We plan on traveling together a lot, spending time with our 4 pets (yes, you read that right... 1 rescue cat and 3 frenchies), and trying to enjoy life as it comes. We don't have all the details figured out yet, but we're so glad you are apart of our lives and get to see the next few chapters unfold!

The reception is on the rooftop of Hotel Ballard so if you want an entirely stress free stay it's probably the simplest choice... But, if we were flying in here's where we'd stay: The Fairmont Olympic Hotel: amazing restaurant and a Seattle classic! The Edgewater Hotel: stunning waterfront views, yummy coffeehouse inside, luxurious boutique hotel. W Hotel Seattle: a younger more modern hotel, with a live DJ in the lobby at night. Lastly, 1 Hotel Seattle is fantastic with a great restaurant and bar (it was a runner up for our venue choice).

FUN! That's the biggest goal for us. To have a blast with our friends and family. Dinner will be family style with an open bar. We ask that people don't overindulge at the bar though ;) We will have a live DJ to keep the energy high, some dancing, and a photo booth. The hope is that we get to celebrate and spend time with the people most important to us in a comfortable, inclusive, and fun setting. Hopefully Seattle will grace us with sunshine and a pretty sunset over the water.
